Can from Viti on Nanaimo, Vancouver, tagged 20/01/17, just over 1 month old
Golden color, hazy to cloudy, with almost no head. The aroma is like fruity hops and fruit jam, not different from the recent wave of Vancouver IPAs. The mouthfeel is good; the blend of grains provide more bread-like qualities that usual IPA, some kind of rye spiciness, and light wheat chalkiness; the hops are quite resiny and pungent, which is good to balance the grains character; but when you have two loud voices the result is a bit noisy. Good overall.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops upfront, light hop resins, and chewy bready malt. Flavour brings out lots of rich resinous hops, some pine, some tropical fruits and a little residual sweetness. Not getting any multigrain quality. Still, it's nicely balanced and finishes fruity. Very good.

@ Alibi. Ugly pale mud, medium frothy head. Bright hops, papaya and pineapple. Soft body, light bitterness. The other grains aren’t apparent here...just the usual fruity hops and mellow yeastiness.

Can - Citrus and a touch of spicy hops. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Citrus and odd earthy pith notes. Decent hop bitterness.

Tall can from Denman. Canned on 2017-01-20. Pours a hazy dirty golden with a white head. Aroma is malty, flowery, citrusy, grassy, kind of similar to small Czech beers. Taste is quite similar, with roasted malt notes. Good stuff.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of dull tropical fruit, light jammy stoned fruit and bready malts. Flavors really excell, light but tasty; sharp dried stoned fruit, tropical fruit leaning towards melons, pithy grapefruit and smooth creamy toasted malts. Nice carbonation to clean away any gunk. Excellent.
