Lots of coffee in initial aroma. Black pour with good mocha head. Roast and some oak. Quite bitter like you didn't pick the grapes at ice wine peak. Tap at brewery.

Pitch black color. Big coffee and roasted malt nose. Dry, fairly roasted with some dark chocolate. Very simple

Bottle into a taster showing black with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of coffee and green pepper. The palate is light bodied and fully carbonated. Moderate coffee forwardness with strong accents of green pepper and a moderate coffee bitterness on the finish.

Black,thick brown head.Pungent roast coffee nose.Oddly, palate has no sweetness,very dry & bitter. Medium roast coffee/bitter chocolate.Great lace,good body. Unusually good carbo for a coffee beer. Very nice

On tap. Pours black with moderate dark tan head. Aromas of fresh brewed coffee, vanilla and roasted malts. Rich flavors of black coffee, syrupy chocolate, and lots of sweet roasted malt. Almost chewy. Good stuff.

On tap at St. Augustine’s. Pours an opaque dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is the same with some dark fruits notes. Quite roasted, very smooth. Good.

Tasting at the 4th most powerful rater of 2016 place
Black color, small brown head. Very nice aroma of boutique coffee, coffee jar. The body is a bit dry, I’d like more sweetness, but that’s my taste; mix of dark chocolate and coffee, a bit ashy in the final.
Nice, quite impressive from Cannery.

Bottle - Deep coffee with roast you and sweet notes. Jet brown with a small beige head. Slick rich nice coffee and some syrupy notes. Really well done.

Dark brown. Thin head. The nose is quite coffeeish, with some nice dark malt sugars underneath of it. On the palate, it’s light for the taste, sweet chocolate and balanced roasty coffee. I like this one - a refined, balanced coffee stout.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of espresso beans, followed by a little cocoa. Flavour is heavy on the espresso beans, with a touch of vanilla and dry cocoa. Light-bodied but heavy flavoured. Nice stuff.
