Tasting at the 4th most powerful rater of 2016 place; 8.9% ABV
Hazy and dull amber color. Weird aroma, BO, biscuit, hint of vegetables, sweaty hops; hay. The malt profile is a bit too sticky; indeed quite sweet too; resiny hops, a bit earthy.
Not bad, just a very old style of IIPA that doesn’t really help the hops.

22 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out perfumey, floral hops, followed by residual sweet malt. Flavour is super boozy and perfumey, with tons of hot floral hops, perfume, booze and residual sweet malt. Boozy, hot and abrasive in every way. Everything wrong with this. Undrinkable.

Hazy, bubbly head. The aroma is orangey and honeyed. There’s a lot of bitterness, with earthy, chewy malts. The hops show a touch of brightness, but then fade more to cheesiness. Alcohol kicks in the finish.

Bottle -A bit of sickeningly sweet tropical notes. Clearish gold with a small white head. Citrus and sweet tropical notes. Not balanced and sweet. Not pleasant.
