375mL bottle, pours a murky amber caramel with a few bubbles head. Aroma brings out stewed apples, caramel, a little burnt caramel too, and a little toffee. Flavour is rather dry and smoky, with burnt caramel, toffee, some raisins and stewed red apples. Quite warming and liqueur-like, with the addition of the eau du vie. Sweetness is relatively low for the ice cider. Complex as hell, though for what it is, it's not in the league of Neige Noir.

Corked bottle, 18.5% ABV
Dark amber color with red hue. A lot of spirit in the aroma and a bit in the final too, some cider qualities, but not enough sweetness to support it, and not enough Ice Cider depth to make this really interesting; a bit too much astringency in the final; nevertheless it has an interesting biscuit and smoke touch.
Nice aperitif.

Bright amber. No head. The aroma has the alcohol, as you’d expect, along with spice, apple and brown sugar, really rich and toffeeish. Wow - very toffeeish, a lot of intense sugars rolling around the tongue. Cut only by alcohol, the sweetness is pretty intense. It is to the point where the apple actually starts to take a back seat, which is crazy to think about. Excellent.
