Draft pout pint at Frankie’s Pizza. 7 days left of this place. Pours a dark cola brown with an active fizz head. Nutty malt aroma. Very typical brown here. Good overall, but doesn’t really stand out. Not whole lot else to really say. Pretty good.

On Tap at the Bellingham BP Clear chestnut colorw witha thin brief sandy head. Classic soft slightly sweet light roast flavor. Some choclate as well. Clean with a slight bitter bite at the end. Mild and easy.

Draught at the brewery, 6% ABV
Dark mahogany color with compact head. The aroma is a bit roasty and dusty, maybe bready; the mouthfeel is lean, it has some light roasted malt and coffee flavor and light sourness. Not pleasant.

Golden-brown. Nutty, lightly spicy aroma. Thin, and the flavour sort of disappears. So no real follow-through on the palate.

On tap at Aslan, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma certainly smells like a typical brown ale, with earthy notes and toasted nuts. Flavour is quite dull, with light earthiness and bready notes. Fairly boring, but well-balanced and pleasant. Decent but nothing exciting.
