Mooch tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy golden color. Mild farmhouse aroma polluted by some vegetables. Soft mouthfeel, some sweetness left, a bit of spicy yeast in the flavor, but otherwise, rather simple beer. Very low bitterness.
Nothing special.

Hazy and blondish tan. Bubbly head. The aroma is a bit yeasty, only a touch of phenol. Has a sweet pale malt note, a touch of yeast, and then a mellow hop dryness. There is some dry fruit, hint of flowers, but where this veers towards the Duponty vein, but it just needs a touch more dryness. I mean, I’m thinking another six months and you’d have something.

Bottle - Sweet grains and floral notes. Cloudy gold. Much like its nose with some sweet notes and a long fruity sweet finish. It is sweet and fruity, but also very nice on the palate.

Bottle at Drayton Harbor Oyster Company, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse yeast, light spiciness, and light fruity esters. Flavour is spicy and fruity, with a very spicy rustic farmhouse yeast quality upfront, followed by subdued fruity esters, and a tiny hint of tartness. Much spicier and less earthy than the Grunge. Very nicely made.
