Tap at Blind Tiger, Manhattan - 01/03/12. Light hazy brown with orange edges with a light beige/brown head. Yeast, spice, malt a pinch of chocolate and a slightly sour brett like finish to the nose, altough not too strong on the latter. Belgian yeast at the fore of the taste, a little citrus, caramel malt, spice, musty and nutty. Medium to full in body, quite sticky but worked well.

[5/11/12] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. Clear amber. Kinda funky aroma with some fruits, a bit of malt and light woody notes. Sourish flavor, somewhat funky and fruity, with faint sweetish hints and a dry finish. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.

750 ml bottle. Pours hazy amber with a medium dissipating off-white head. Aroma is bretty and fruity. Smells delicious. Taste starts briefly sweet before becoming tart; finishes with a light dry bitterness and a lingering acidic tartness. If there’s any cacao in here, it’s not noticeable. Body is on the thin side. A tasty sour, but not as impressive as some of the other Jolly Pumpkins I’ve had.
