Brown malty flavours supported by molasses, wood, and a drop of blackcurrant . Mid-dry, warming, lingering end. Well bodied. Appreciated. Bottle. It's dark brown in the glass, with a small beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite intense, not very alcoholic, with some roasted malts, a licorice hint, molasses, wood and spicy, piney notes. Some nutty hints.too. It's full-bodied and smooth on the palate, with a little alcohol warmth and some bitterness. Sweet, but not too sweet. Roasted malts, caramel, molasses, spiced, piney notes and a nutty touch in the flavor. Quite woody, more cypress than oak. Lasting roasted, spiced, woody finish with a good warmth. A really pleasant one indeed, rich and tasteful and with a close to perfect warming feeling. 171224
