Light brown with a touch if haze and not much head. Sweet, caramel, toffee, some alcohol in there. Good balance but maintaining its sweetness. Tastes quite a bit bigger than it is; I got some good old ale toffee character out of it.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark mahogany color. Rich treacle, fudge, dark caramel, moderately sweet, with pleasant oak/bourbon character. Excellent on my palate.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very complex, with lovely bourbon barrels upfront, followed by dark fruit and caramel. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with lots of smoky bourbon barrels upfront, followed by caramel and dark dried fruits. Lovely job with the barrel aging. Elegant and deep. Excellent.

Draft - Toffee and bourbon barrel notes. Deep cloudy brown with no head. Dark toffee, nutty and bourbon barrel notes. Rich and not too boozy, quite nice.
