650. L bottle. Pours a reddish brown with full head. Aromas of dry nutty chocolate, dry dark fruit, a bit of plastic, and roasted malts. Flavors of plastic and roasted malts. Thin. Where are the hops? Maybe this bottle is ancient… There is no obvious BBD.

Draught @ Boxcar. Medium brown, light, toast, lots of bitterness. Hoppy, nutty, medium body.
Bottle, Nov 2017: Medium brown. Thin head. Has a light sort of cocoa aroma, but thinnish. Bitter and a bit thin, with some sweetness. Cocoa, like, maybe. Not much going on here. Definitely too thin for the style. And not nearly hoppy enough. 5-3-5-2-10 = 2.5

On tap at 12 Kings, pours dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy hops and toasted malt. Flavour is fairly subdued, with lots of earthy hops, toasted malt and a touch of toasted caramel. Quite an earthy one, with low harshness for the style. Not overly exciting but nicely constructed. Decent.
