Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, roast and pear drups in the aroma. Malty sweet, slightly roasty flavor with notes of cappucino and milk chocolate. Decent but onedimensional.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy coffee brown with small off-white head. Clear aroma of coffee, milk chocolate and roast. Sweetish flavour of chocolate and malt, with notes of coffee and roast and some malty and fruity touches. Roasty and nutty aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Not bad but quity fruity for the style.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David Cohen. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, coffee (slightly "green"), a bit of fruitiness and a bit of yeast. Sweetish and slightly acidic flavor with roast, chocolate, yeast and some fruitiness (apples). Medium-bodied. OK. New version is better.

Black with small off-white head. Very fruity with red and black berries, strawberry jam, some milk chocolate, nice spices and some roasted grains and nuts. Light sweet with light tart touch and slight bitter in the finish. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Nice beer even though I don't get much coffee.

Bottle thanks to ChrisO. It pours clear mahogany brown with a medium light tan head. The nose is roasty, earthy, coffee, cocoa, dried fruits and caramel. The taste is roasty, coffee-driven, mild acidity, wood, dirt, cocoa and light alcohol with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly one-dimensional, but still not bad.
