Bottle. Almost black and opague. Roast, ash and dark chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty flavor with chocolate and licorice. Thinner as expected Nice one, maybe a bit onedimensional.

Bottle @ home, as Xtreem Stout, bb 12/2014. Black color. Huge dense beige head with long retention. Aroma's: roasted, caramel, some fruit, a bit stale or old-ish. Retronasal it's fruity to the point of sourish, roasty, light sweet. Flavor is definitely moderate sour, roasted. Light medium bodied. Fiishes lightly roasted. Definitely not as intended, but not even too bad, despite the sourness. Will have to retry with a fresh Potig though.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of straw, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2015. 2010 Vintage! Black, little mocha. Nose is liquorish, thin herbal, light oxidation but way less than you would expect, too heavy on liquorish & herbal,… Taste is thin liquorish, herbal, coffee, very herbal, liquorish, thin, sweetish,… Thin liquorish,… Too thin, liquorish, herbal forward etc. for me. Oddly not picking up much oxidation, it is quite thin. (Thanks for sharing!)
