Bottled from Speciaalbierpakket.nl, BB 07/2015, large sample, tried to serve in a trappist glass but hopelessly failing cause it gushed onto the ceiling. Thanks Kinhem with your above average bottling sugar. Hazy to cloudy yellow to golden color, huge rocky slight off-white head, leaving some soapy lacing. Aroma of sweet honey, slight spicy and soapy hops, obvious coriander (which could also cause the soapy notes), slight signs of oxidation. Its not really that bad actually. Bit sweet in taste, medium bitter. Finishes with quite a lot of spicy bitterness and dryness. Honey and coriander fighting, hops not really present. Medium bodied, meduim carbonation (despite the gushing). Slightly out of balance and a bit too much spice and dry. -0.3 for the annoying gushing.
