Medium tawny body and clear. Nice fruit and wood aroma gives it a very tawny port character, very nice. Taste is sweet honey, sugary currant, melded together to be very port-like. Excellent, very well balanced and enjoyable.

Pinkish colour. Aroma is mellow red currant. Nice honey note. Has a mellow happy fruity, honey. Good. Surprisingly good.

Bottle - Cherry and strong honey notes. Clear pale copper. Sweet honey and some light current notes. Light bitterness and sweetness. Par for the course for them.

375mL bottle, pours a fairly hazy golden, no head. Aroma brings out the red currants upfront, with low sweetness for a mead. Flavour brings out the red currants upfront, with medium sweetness. As usual, not very complex and fairly thin, but it's quite pleasant. Decent.

Bottle at the meadery, synthetic cork, vintage 2011
Light red color. Light fruit aroma, light vinegar and chemicals too. Quite sweet, but not syrupy, with a good degree of acidity, the mead flavor appears more here than in the dry ones from Campbell with a delicate fruity note.
Pleasant.
