Tasting at Matt’s; LAB Series 2-2016
Hazy blond color. Nice funky aroma, lightly flowery. Dry mouthfeel, lean, nice coriander character; harmonious, but monodimensional.
Not bad.

750mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out farmhouse funk, biscuity malt, and some cereal. Flavour is very funky, with lots of barnyard funk dominating upfront, followed by dry cereal, biscuity malt. Complex and deep, with lovely expression from the brett. Excellent.

Bottle - Lots of funk and Brett yeast notes. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Funky Brett and yeasty notes. Nicely done.

Straw colour, with not much head. The aroma has a honeyish note. On the palate, it’s light, with a lot of brett, and with some straw malty notes. Floral notes from the brett seem the dominant culture. Good brew, has a nice character, despite being a bit on the thin side.
