The one that started it all. This Belgian wit was the first beer to ever come out of our kettles as brewing professionals. Despite it being a ‘safe’ and logical choice for a beginning brewer, Struise Witte is anything but boring.
With big notes of wheat and citrus, this beer provides you with a refreshing drinking experience.

Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours yellow-golden. Aroma is wheat, sour, fruits, citrus. Flavor is sour, somewhat sweet, spices, wheat. Body is watery. Overall: okish, but too sour (the sourness gave off feeling to me) and watery.

Bottle at the restaurant ’down the road’ from the Struise brewery. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Dry and semi soft palate. Minerals. Light creamy wheaty malt. Trace of citric hop. Crisp finish. Standard stuff.

BBE 02/14.

hazy pale golden colour, large, dense white head; aroma of lemon, grains, some hay and fruitiness; taste of sourish bread with overripe sweet fruitiness and moderate, though still present hoppy bitterness; nice and very refreshing - ideal for this sunny, warm Sunday afternoon :-)

Cloudy, orange to yellow colored, medium to small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, some wheat, phenolic spicy, bit doughy. Taste is low sweet wheat, dough, strong yeast again, phenolic, peppery, light coriander and low to medium herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation.
