The one that started it all. This Belgian wit was the first beer to ever come out of our kettles as brewing professionals. Despite it being a ‘safe’ and logical choice for a beginning brewer, Struise Witte is anything but boring.

With big notes of wheat and citrus, this beer provides you with a refreshing drinking experience.

Bottle at Molenhof. Citrus, light spice, clean and not too sweet. A rather dry version of the style, which I like. Refreshing and crisp. Solid Wit.

330ml bottle shared at home. Pretty classic wit-looking beer. Pale yellow, big white head. Grainy smelling, with citrus peel and coriander going on too. Good quaffer on a sunny day.

Nice witbier with more malt than usual. Has a full taste, with notes of fruits. I am user to more special brews from Struise though.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale to golden yellow with a small white head that doesn’t last long. Smells fresh, malts. Tastes refreshing, mandarin, slightly sourish, malty and herbs. Not a bad witbier! Medium body, nice carbo.

Had this at the De Struise Tap Takeover at Churchkey. Poured a yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was straw, some citrus, hop notes, and yeast. Flavor was yeasty straw, citrus, hops. Was hoping for more.

On tap at Monks Porter House. Hazy dark yellow with a white head. Aroma and taste of lime peel, hay, some light funk, spices and yeast. On the light side. Drinkable but far from the best one from Struise.
