Draft, Boxcar. Hazy tan. Medium head. Aroma has a nice yeastiness that kicks off a delicate fruity note. This has a mellow caramel note, biscuity, malt character, subtle earthy hops. Nice balance.

Draft - Loght Woody notes with caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Touch of yeast, esters and a dry finish. Not much going on.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy to cloudy light amber color. Mild aroma: grains, paper, puke. Good mouthfeel, lean, but not weak, and soft, not too dry; the malts have some biscuity quality, the yeast is spicy, like rye, but it has a moderate paper and dust character, mild herbaceous character, traces of chalk and vegetables.
No matter how much I would like to, I can’t love this like a true English Bitter .
Ok beer, but rather boring.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is some spices, malty. Same character slightly bitter taste. Easy drinkable, refreshing.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy dull golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is unusual, bringing out a mix of English bready malt, Belgian yeast and a lightly earthy hoppiness. Flavour is harmonious in all these elements, with Belgian yeast upfront, followed by earthy hops and English bready malt. Nice blend of elements, though not particular interesting. Solid.
