Bittersweet apples are the backbone of traditional English cider and are some of the rarest apples in Canada. We grow several of these prized varietals, which can be heart breaking to grow, yet produce some of the world’s finest cider. Our Bittersweet cider is an off-dry sparkler expressing the classic phenolic character of this coveted fruit. Raise a glass of Sea Cider to a bittersweet tradition!

Nice smooth gold body and good foam. Huge bourbon character on the nose, appley whisky, wet boozy pine. Flavour is more bourbon, sweet apple, smooth pine. Great carbonation, melded well, enjoyable.

The Aromas are really intense, earthy and a little spicy apples. Flavors are very much like nose, with some bitterness and some other flavors I can't put my finger on almost perfumey but not quite. Great body carbonation and finish that is a touch alcoholic. Very nice cider.

Taster from fhe bottle on BC Cider Fest 2017. Pours a clear golden with no head. Aroma is funky, caramely. Taste is quite dry with caramel apples notes. Very dry aftertaste. Pleasant.

Bottle. Has a light tan colour without much effervescence. The aroma is skins, with an earthy bitter apple character. Lightly effervescent on the palate, this is dry, with a light bitterness, and a dash of sweeter fruit only in the mid part, before it gets dry, almost leathery, certainly earthy in the finish. Nice cider, quite refreshing.

750mL bottle, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Nose brings out dry apples and champagne effervescence. Flavour is fairly dry but a little sweet, with dry green apples, champagne qualities, and a dry bitter finish. Quite complex and well-balanced. Very nice.
