12 oz bottle. Almost clear, deep golden body with a fine, dense off-white head. Aroma has some malt, but also a strange hop profile. Almost like paint thinner and dust, I didn’t find this too attractive. Flavor is more ordinary, sweet malty with a decent bitterness.

(Bottle from K Citymarket Itäkeskus) The beer poured amber and clear. Head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts toffee, fruitiness and hops. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops. malts, mildly fruitiness and roastedness, bit of toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. This was a nice beer for such a mild but unfortunately there were some harsh flavours that would have been softerned by a little bit more alcohol content. The very good thing is that you can buy this from a Finnish supermarket.

It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, off-whtie to beige head. Citrus peel, hints of paint thinner and sourness and a cheesy touch on the nose. Some toffee in the flavor, else it’s cookies and citrus. Some acidity. Medium body. Ctirusy finish with some metallic notes. A disappointing one, guess the bottles wasn’t in its best shape, therefore letting my older rating stand. Rating: 4-4-4-3-8-2.3. 101229
Bottle, 12oz, shared by KimJohansen. A slightly hazy, golden beer with an off-white head. Malty nose with a pleasant fruity touch. A bit boring in a way, not going in any particular direction and with the aromas not very well integrated. The flavor has the same problem, it’s slightly metallic in the else bitter finish, and some orange marmalade blendes in. Medium body, rather sweetish. After some sips, it sort of improves, but it’s definitely not impressing in any way. Rating: 6-3-6-3-13-3.1. 100813

bottle from kihosk clear dark orange brown, smooth large offwhite head. quite sour aroma in this one, either some pretty special hops, or it has turned sour. I also get sweet malts. so some sort of sweet/sour experience. flavor is sourish, malty, dry from hops. palate and texture is very good, but I am not sure the brewers intention was to make a beer this sourish or fruity. The combination of tartness and sourness works quite well with the high amounts of malts and hops. If infected, it’s one of the luckier ones.

12 ounce bottle, opened 10/2/10. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large offwhite creamy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of of caramel, herbal, earthy hops and a bit of toastiness. The taste is bitter leafy, peppery hops, caramel, some toasted malts. Medium bodied. Nice, drinkable pale ale.

Great hazy orange coloured body with a thick tan head and an almost wheatie glow make for a nice APA. Aroma of light hops, a ton of peaches and apricots, some alcohol and a nice malty kick. Medium-bodied; Mild hoppy flavour with a lot of peaches, apricots and apples in the mix with a yeast and slightly bitter hop finish. Aftertaste shows some of the hops and a touch of the fruits, but relatively mild. The malt is nowhere to be seen at all, only a few wheat tastes and hardly anything else in that respect. Overall, a decent beer, but not enough hops or body for this to be a well-crafted APA. Nice fruit flavours and a great look to the beer, but aside from those two, you have a subpar APA. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 30-July-2010 for US$1.89 sampled at home in Washington on 18-October-2010.
