A true smooth and creamy stout with a sweet difference. The chocolate flavours are balanced by the addition of vanilla extract.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear dark brown with an orange hue and a small beige head. Somewhat cloying vanilla aroma. Light body, chocolate notes that appear sweet but are actually dry - it’s probably the vanilla that confuses my buds. Ends dry and lightly bitter. 030812

50cl bottle shared with Kermis. A little off white head. Deep brown pour. Definite chocholate taste, more so than the vanilla, nice!

Bottle @ YNWA. Huge creamy tan head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are as label says lots of vanilla and milk chocolate, but also some caramel, malt and hops. Medium bodied, low carbonation and a little watery.

Bottle, at John Bull, Aalborg. An almost black one, topped by a beige head leaving some lacings. The aroma has too much vanilla I think, hiding most of the chocolate and some of the roasted malts. The flavor too has a bit more vanilla than I prefer, but at least the chocolate flavors are more evident. Quite sweet, with roasted kind of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, smooth. A little bit more body and a little less vanilla would make this a very fine beer. 120219
