A true smooth and creamy stout with a sweet difference. The chocolate flavours are balanced by the addition of vanilla extract.

Hand pulled cask, one-third pint, at the W5 Hastings Bar, GBBF 2011. Deep black body, shimmering surface, fragile lacework. Blended aroma of vanilla and chocolate sweetness. Cocoa powder and vanilla in flavour. Hint of bitterness from a slightly roasted backbone. On the sweet side as expected. True to its name. Quite alright there and then (Earls Court, London 02.08.2011).

Cask at GBBF, Day 1. Pours black-brown with a big, beige head. Major cream soda nose. Tons of vanilla and more cream soda character in the flavor, some lactic sweetness and dark malts. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Light sweet finish, creamy vanilla, cocoa. Yeah, tons of creamy cocoa. And light roast. Good.

4th August 2010. GBBF.
A scoop courtesy of Simon & Jackie - Cheers guys! Opaque black beer - no head. Light crisp palate. Fresh tangy porter with sweet vanilla and just a light touch of chocolate. Good effort!

Cask at GBBF ’10. Black pour with a beige head. Extreme vanilla nose with some chocolate, caramel and toffee. Unsurprisingly chocolate and vanilla dominate the flavour with some coffee and caramel creeping through. Good beer to have after a good curry to replace the obligatory Irish coffee.
