Pours a clear amber color, topped with an average white head. Malty aroma, some caramel and some hoppy notes. Taste is moderately herbal and hoppy with some nice bitterness in the finish. A nice one.

Draft at Beer Run, 8/5/14. Pours a clear copper with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, raisin, floral hops. The taste is weak caramel, earthy hops, plastic. Thin, watery.

Tap. Clear Amber with small white head. Light malts, very dry fruits and light pine hops. Bit of roasted grains. Light bodied with slight dry feel. Pretty decent light beer.

Bottle from Waitrose and drunk at home. Clear mid brown colour thin off white head. Some pasteurised toffee aroma and some peppery hop aroma. A little empty cos of the pasteurisation. I mean itโs not a good beer. I hate pasteurisation of beers with such light flavours as it completely ruins it in my opinion. Some ok bitterness on the finish. Very English hops which are ok. Itโs better than when I first tasted it, but still, it could be better. Bitterness is the best thing about it.

Golden colour. Hoppy aroma. Some citrusy hop in the flavour. Refreshingly bitter and thirst quenching. A bit thin in the finish.

Bottle at the De Molen Second Tuesday Tasting, January 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is hoppy light caramel. The flavour is medium bitter with a watery hop nutty bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. Preferred the cask version and served warmer too.

Good looking bottle. Pours deep amber liquid with modest white bubbly head. Wellknown aroma of honey, blossom & herbs. The taste is really bitter lasting through the finish to aftertaste. The palate is anyway thin & watery. The form is better than the content.

Copper-golden in colour, no head. Has a grain-malt aroma, a pleasant bitterness and includes some grain in its taste.
