Bottle at the DISOB tasting, Den Haag. Poured a murky dark brown colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich and alcoholic leading to a strong bitter, alcoholic, fruity flavour with bags of liqourice on the palate. A very decent barley wine.

Bottle shared at the "Dean’s scared of beer tasting" thin off white head. Hazy amber pour. An odd barley wine. Pretty nice brew

Bottle shared at the "Dean’s scared of beer tasting". Pours cloudy brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of ripe fruits, soy, caramel, raisins, biscuit and toffee. Flavor is heavy sweet and light bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. A bit weird..

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear copper colour, small head. Floral nose with dates and dark bread. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Sweet raisiny malt with good depth, balanced with resinous bitter hops. Warming and rich, yet mild. A gem!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear deep amber with a tiny off-white head. Sweet burned caramel, toffee and a little phenols. Rich, sticky body, lowish carbonation. Loads of toffee, burned caramel and Sherry with a lightly wooden touch. Quite some warming alcohol. Very enjoyable! 160213

Bottle 330ml @ fonefan
Pours clear brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol and dried fruits. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long boozy and fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Bottle. An unclear, brownish dark golden beer, more or les flat. Rather hoppy aroma, with pine cones and citrus peel. Quite malty and sweetish, with some dried fruits. A tad too much alcohol. It’s quite warming on the palate, full-bodied and sweet, with bitterness trying to balance it. Dried fruits, caramel, pine cones and lemon peel. Bitter finish. A slightly messy one, not my preferred beer in any way, but quite decent. 130216
