Dark gold. Thin, bubbly head. Aroma has a fair bit of malt richness and some chewier, citrusy hops, though not all that bright. Quite strong, and estery, with a lot of malt sweetness and a finish combining some c hop and a fair bit of alcohol.

Draft - Nice citrus and peach notes. Clear gold with a rich white head. Bitter and resinous with a pithy long bitter finish. The nose is amazing, unfortunately this didn’t translate to the taste.

2016-08-10, bottle from Denman Wine and Spirits, Vancouver, 7-4-7-3-13=34
The golden color is bright, inviting; hazy with small head. The aroma has medium strength, with American hops and an earthy touch. Strong body, without being thick; sensible malting, blond, not obtrusive, but the mouthfeel is a bit oily,, then a lot of C-hops, mainly resiny, some orange peel, and a bit of booze.
Not bad, but pedestrian.
2016-05-29, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10th Anniversary party, 7-3-7-4-14=35
Hazy blond color. The aroma is fruity but also a bit earthy, and very light apples (6.5). Good body strength, lean mouthfeel, just mild residual sweetness, pale malts in the flavor, resiny hops, strong bitterness, but just a touch of orange peel, not much fruits. I don’t find it exciting, but it’s a good beer overall.
Ok.

On the 10th anniversary of Alibi Room. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits - amazing. Taste is tropical fruits hoppy bitterness with some wild notes. Piney bitterness aftertaste. Very good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and cereal notes. Flavour is very fresh, with loads of piney hops upfront, backed by dry biscuity malt. Lovely hop characteristics. Wonderfully balanced. Excellent.
