Draught at the brewery; 2 cups
Cloudy bright golden color with huge creamy head (poured in plastic cup, so it’s not surprising). Good body strength, earthy malts, but also a very light fruity touch; most of all, since this beer has been kegged 26 months ago, it developed a very strong funky and astringent character, it comes in layers of true Belgian complexity for a great pleasure. Bitter and dry final.
One of the best Belgian beers I had in long time.

Aged 2 years, sampled 2017. Thick head, hazy, orangey colour. Big brett on the nose, with lots of fresh biscuity malts. On the palate, the same malt character is prominent, along with alcohol, and light brett. I am surprised that the brett character didn’t develop more after two years at ambient temps. That said, this is still a very well-balanced beer and one of the better brews Dageraad has made outside of their flagships. Fresh, in 2017. Amber, slight haze, thick head. Brett comes through on the nose, along with hints of esters. Nice amber malts with pear esters, gentle touch of brett. This is nice. 7-4-7-4-15 = 3.7

Draft - Grain and Lots of farmhouse notes. Cloudy copper with a decent white head. Grains, light funky barnyard and a long grain finish.

On tap at Farmhouse Festival Vancouver, pours a cloud orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and bone dry Belgian yeast. Flavour is dry, with bready notes and bone dry Belgian yeast. Not especially complex but it works okay. Meh.
