Quite caramelly, woody, very heavy on the cedar, in the palate, unbalanced, heavy-handed. Disappointing.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 10th Anniversary party
Amber color, clean, with creamy head. Ordinary ale, some caramel, to which the cedar adds a feeling of frankincense. Roasted chestnuts.
Not a bad beer, but I wouldn’t drink much of it.

Draft - Smells like a humidor, tons of cedar and a touch of caramel. Clear gold with a decent white. Big cedar notes with a nice finish. Much more balance than expected, quite drinkable.

On the 10th anniversary of Alibi Room. Pours a pale amber with a slightly tan head. Aroma and taste are bready, malts, some dark fruits. Hoppy bitterness, bready aftertaste.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of cedar upfront and dominating, with biscuity malt. Flavour brings out lots of cedar that dominates. Not much else besides the cedar. Clean and very pleasant, just not particularly intriguing.
