650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out notes of vanilla, caramel, English malt, and light resins. Flavour is very malt-heavy, with lots of caramel, some vanilla and toasted English malt. Very low hop resins in there. A heavy malty, but unsophisticated strong ale. Decent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with full head. Aromas of dry brown sugar, bread crusts, hay, and west toasted malts. Flavors of dry malts, grass, and toast with very present alcohol. Maybe cellar to see what happens. - second tasting - actually a lot better if chilled and left to sit open for a bit...

Hazy amber- brown. Thin head. Aroma is fruity, phenolic. Has a lot of bitterness and light phenol character. Has some chocolate notes, sort of a strong ale. A bit alcoholic in the finish with bitter, chocolate and sweet brown sugar malts.

Tasting at Josh’s
Mahogany color, hazy, with generous beige head. Some aroma of caramel, liquorice, but also earthy, light vegetables. Caramel and malt flavor, some mild chocolate, roasted nuts, brittle, moderately sweet, a bit more roasty in the final, and some vegetables; light liquorice; very boozy.
Drinkable, but incredibly unfocused and messy.
