Light gold in colour, bursting with citrus and tropical hop flavours and sensationally refreshing. The original UK Citra. In 2009 on his annual hop sourcing visit to the USA, Oakham's Brewing Director John Bryan discovered an exceptional new hop variety - Citra. He rushed it to the UK, ensuring that Oakham Ales were the first UK brewery to brew a beer with 100% Citra hops and maintaining Oakham's reputation for pioneering innovation. ABV: 4.2% in cask, 4.6% in bottle.

500 ml bottle, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong aroma of Citra hops, notes of citrus fruits and gooseberries, hints of tropical fruits. Distinctly hoppy flavour on a tolerable malty base, notes of citrus, gooseberries and tropical fruits again, grapefruity and wormwoodlike bitterness in the dry finish. Long, bitter and rather sharp aftertaste.

Bottle in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours pale golden, just slightly hazy, white medium foam which quickly goes Dow and leaves a bubble lacing on the glass. Nose of fresh and a bit sweet grapefruit, rich aroma of tangerine and marmalade. Mouth: gently bitter start, dry general feel. Pungent bitterness. Lovely! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thnx to dennoman . Pours clear blonde , ok white head . Smell is pure citra , some malts . Fresh and green . Taste is bitter , citra , prominent but balanced . fresh , bit green .very nice .

Bottle @ YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours clear golden with a white head. Fresh and juicy hops. quite tea-ish. Citrus, a bit of bread and grassy hops. Dry and bitter. Harmonic and just tasty and really drinkable.

Bottle (50cl) from Deliciouslydifferent. Pale golden colour,white foam. Medium carbonation. Very hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, gooseberry and tropical fruit. Bitter with light sweet notes. Very drinkable and tastefull. Very good pale ale!

Slightly hazy amber and light copper coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of very fresh hops with some alcohol and grassy notes also around. Medium-bodied; Strong hop notes throughout the initial tastes with a lot of gtrain, alcohol and especially body behind. Aftertaste shows a good and relatively subdued hop note rise to the forefront of the palate. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from CityโSuper! in Harbour City, Kowloon on 04-July-2014 for HK35,00 sampled at home in my hotel room here in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
