Poured from the tap. Black with beige head. Mild chocolate upfront with a roasty finish. Decent.

On tap at Cumberland, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals moderate toasted malt and some earthy dry cocoa. Flavour is dry, with earthy cocoa powder and medium toasted malt. Decently constructed and drinkable, but not interesting.

Has a good oily barley smell with coffee notes, a nice black body on it with beige foam. Flavour is mellow sweet barley and chocolate cake hints. Mouthfeel is ful and round. It's just nice, approachable, drinkable.

On tap. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dry roasted malts and dark cocoa powder. Flavors of same with additional swwetened black coffee. More of a dry stout with just a hint of sweetness. Simple and clean.

Draft - Lots of nice roast and chocolate notes. Jet brown with a light brown head. Lots of chocolate with a bit of roast. Sweet and chocolaty.

Growler from the brewery. Sweet and chocolatey. Pretty full body. Good balance. The finish is fairly sweet, and it’s fairly oily, too. A nice stout, one of the best they had on tap on the day.
