Don't let the colour fool you, this is a citrusy summer sipper with zest. The addition of midnight wheat to the mash adds a layer of bready notes to this otherwise light and tangy Belgian Witbier.

Flavour profile:
Citrus and zesty with light bready finish. Pairs well with spot prawns: peel, eat and enjoy!

Good to know:
We are lucky enough to have the only Belgian born Brewing Engineer in all of BC at the helm. This dark witbier has become a signature brew of his and should be considered in all locations where craft beer is available. Show Less

Dark brown. Thin head. Has a fruity, lightly chocolatey character, wheaty and slightly tart.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is light with pillowy wheat and a slight metallic tinge. Flavour is crisp and spicy, with spicy coriander upfront, followed by a lightly metallic biscuity malt in back. Not terribly well-crafted but it's drinkable. Alright.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark brown color, thin head. Dark malts, mildly roasted, some spices, and a bit too much yeast; quite dry.
Belgian name for a German style?
I don’t know what I’m drinking. Not too bad, but I know I’m not too excited about it.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with full head. Aromas of overripe bananas, earth, and wet wheat. Flavors of same with a good dose of phenols and a pepper finish. OK for the style.
