355ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a small, short lived, fizzy, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of grainy pale malt, biscuit and light hay. Sweet flavour of bready pale malt, biscuit, yeast and lemon with a dry finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation.

Draft at the brewery. Hazy golden, thin head. Fruity, berryish nose. Lots of pale malts, a bit biscuity, quite sweet. Low hop bitterness, has a hint of hop fruitiness. A perfectly functional golden ale from 1994.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold. Aromas of lemon wax, apples and earthy wheat. Flavors of applesauce, creamy wheat, melons and light malts. A bit vegetal...

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color with poor head; unwisely served with an orange slice in the glass. The aroma may be a nit lemony, but too mild. The mouthfeel is highly carbonated, the flavor is a bit wheaty, it’s quite dry which compensates for the low bitterness.
Clean, drinkable, inoffensive.

On tap at Red Truck, pours a cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and dry crackery notes. Flavour is restrained, with some mild fruity esters upfront, followed by biscuity malt and some cereal sweetness. Clean and drinkable. Well-made for the style, just nothing special as expected.
