Open Road is for those looking for something a little darker and malt forward. Pumpernickel bread and raisins dominate the palate but finishes with chocolate, while the hops lend just a hint of citrus and pine to balance out the sweetness of this easy drinking dark beer.

355ml can. (5.5% ABV) Pours a clear red-brown with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, nuts, caramel, bread and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, nuts, caramel and dark chocolate with a dry, mildly bitter finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty. These guys are off to a good start.

Decent beige head with a bit of density to it and carbonated dark brown for a body. Aroma has cocoa, coffee, slight grass. Flavour is a decent rosted barley with a sharp finish. A good and well defined brew, not like some brown ales that get all muddy, this is highly drinkable.
