Draft - Weird off dark malts. Clear brown with a small white head. Nail polish and malts, not good.

Dark brown color, almost black. Flat because of issues filling the growler. Lean beer, rather dry, the lack of carbonation improves the mouthfeel; it has a gentle and pleasant bread character, roasted nuts, hint of dark chocolate; all of this in the aroma and flavor; bold bitterness.
Very nice Brown Ale.

On tap at White Rock Beach, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and light grains. Flavour is fairly bland but dry enough, with toasted nuts and grainy notes. Dry and well-balanced, but pretty boring. Competently brewed - decent beer.
