Hazy light brown. Thin head. Fairly woody, and it has a nice dark fruit character. Pretty good. Has a nice, balanced character. One of their best beers.

650ml bottle shared at Brian’s office. Pours a hazy amber with a tam head. Earthy, winey, woody. Not bad.

650mL bottle, pours a reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is bizarre, with vinegar, rum barrels, and medium sour berries. Flavour is dominated by woody rum barrels, medium sourness and vinegar. The rum is extremely prominent, as well as the vinegar and sourness. Rather abrasive but also harmonious somehow. Quite good.

Bottle - Balsamic vinegar and some herbal aromatics. Cloudy deep brown with a light brown head. Woody, light tartness and some herbal woody bitterness. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Dark amber-brown color, cloudy, with medium sized non persistent head. Nice aroma of balsamic vinegar and spirit, old wood. It has a good body strength; the residual sweetness, the dark malts and caramel, the fruity acidity, the wood character and the spirit complement each other in the right way. Powerful and balanced. The rum doesn’t present itself as boozy. Infinitesimal traces of acetone in the final don’t compromise the brew.
Excellent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy mahogany with full head. A messy gusher on opening - minus a point. Aromas of malt vinegar with vegetal and alcohol notes. The flavors are fortunately an improvement; vinegar, wood, sugar, and fruity rum with additional vinous notes. Interesting. A rummy Oud Bruin...
