Very modest caramel on the nose, okay foam and a darker reddish brown body. Flavour is some very modest red ale notes, okay carbonation, a bit of oiliness but kind of lacklustre. No punch, just passable water. I need the oomph.

Draft - Dark malty caramel with some ginger. Dark Amber with a decent beige head. Sweet dark malts, toffee and twig bitterness. Not bad.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark copper with a creamy beige/tan head. Aroma of malt, mild hop, and a hint of chocolate. Med body. Flavor is somewhat spicy malt, hop that seems citrus, and a touch of chocolate. It’s drinkable, but arguably unbalanced. Needs more hop! Finishes much more malty than bitter.

A lightly hazed reddish amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, OK. In mouth, a nice treacle almost vinous malt with grassy floral hops, nutty notes, nice. Cask Days 2014.

(tap) clear, bright honey amber colour with a medium tall brown head; aromas or roast, vanilla; balanced flavour - like a good stout, long medium bitter finish; slightly creamy palate; very nice
