Medium offwhite head. Yellow body made slightly hazy by little floaties. Resiny tropical fruit and vaguely citric aroma with sugary oily notes. Intense dry-sweet strawy grassy resiny taste with salty tropical fruit notes. Full-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden tropical fruit aftertaste with toffee, raisins, and caramel notes. Nice, full of flavour, intense, gets a bit tough to drink after a while. (0.5l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Consumed at home in the company of Loz, Craig, Stella & Kids plus Jackie & Simon 02.08.13 Big thanks to Simon & Jackie for this! Quite heavy in mouth, massively hoppy, very sweet, bitter, great stuff which works bloody well despite the sweetness. Consistency is syrupy but its great. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and great thx to Papsoe for sending me a bunch of Amager beers to celebrate my 5K milestone. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, pleasant fruity nose. Moderate sweet malty, fruity hoppy and discreet honey with pleasant alcoholic notes. Strong bitterness in the finish. Really nice brew.

Another of Papsoe’s treasures for us :). Poured a murky golden body with a small head that went away relatively slow. Ever so slightly fishy fruity fresh agrumey aroma, nice and sharp, surrounded by maltiness. Some chalky peach notes. Smooth, somewhat creamy chalky taste, bitter and warming, very very light tartness, peach and light apricot in the background. Spicy strong hopiness in the foreground. Not the best I2PA ever, but the fruitiness in here rocks and yeah, I’d readily demonstrate some gluttony if I could get my hands on more.

26/VI/13 - 50cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Filip's place - BB: XII/2014 - batch: 546 (2013-577)
Little cloudy deep orange beer, creamy yellowish irregular head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, passion fruits, piny bitterness, lovely stuff! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very piny, resinous, sweet malts and honey underneath a very pronounced bitterness, some citrus. Aftertaste: resinous, very bitter, mango, passion fruit and pineapple, dry ending, yet with a certain sweetness behind it, keeping it pretty balanced. Finished this one practically all by myself, besides being in good beer drinking company. Am I doing this right? :-p

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Intense hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit and citrus, a herbal touch, hints of resin. Taste is bitter hoppy, grapefruit, orange zest, a herbal note; really bitter, slightly biting, but still aromatic and multilayer hoppy finish.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours a hazy dark orange colour with a small off-white head. Has a malty aroma with fruity hops, apricot and some pine. Hefty flavour of grassy hops, alcohol, grapefruit, resin and some spices. Rich and slick mouth feel, and has a medium to heavy bitterness. A powerful and nice DIPA.

Tap at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy orange with a thick frothy head and surprisingly lots of carbonation. The aroma is rich citrus fruit, yeast and malt. The flavour is strong bitter, liqourice with lots of citrus fruit on the palate. It’s like drinking an alcoholic orange juice!
