Bottle from Il Saraceno, Sondrio
Dark brown color, frothy head. Strong Brown Ale, not an Imperial Stout, it has a pretty strong roasted malt character, and a dry and quite astringent final.
Quite simple.

Medium brown, light brown sugar. Medium body, light sweetness, had a decent strong brown ale character.

Bottle - Nice malty notes and toasty notes. Deep brown with alight brown head. Light a toasty notes. Thin, but decent. So not a IMP, more like a dark lager.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, some yeast, and a little roast. Flavour is along the same lines, with roasted malt and dark fruits, a little metallic notes to follow with some toasted bread. Body is very weak, not seeming like a stout at all. Very thin body, more like a weak porter of some sort. Reasonable flavours, but the body is pathetic. Not too impressive.
