Clear golden pour, medium white head. Decent grassy hops, some nice bready, if slightly overly sweet malts. Good mouthfeel, carb is a tad too soft. The flavor is a little muddled, lacks some crispness. The finish is lightly bitter with the hops making themselves known. I think its a rebrand of the old JR brickman pils. Arguably the only drinkable waterloo product.

Tasting at Ferris’, can
Blond color, small head. Cereally malt aroma. The malt flavor has too much cereals and straws; correct bitterness, lightly herbaceous.
Clean, simple.

After a flight from Victoria this just hot the spot. Some saaz type hops and only a but of odd funky malt taste in finish. Some.crisp bitterness. Tall can o joy.

Part of the Waterloo 2013 Spring pack at the LCBO. Pours a yellow straw colour with a foamy white head that gives out dirty lacing. Mild cereal grain malt nose with just a tad of Saaz hop. The hop appears a little more in the taste, adding a spicy bite to it at the start and finishing on the malt, lingering a bit. Nice crisp, medium-bodied brew that is pretty refreshing. Quite a nice Canadian pilsner, that does not have the rusty hop that most European Pils have.
