12 oz can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tan head. Aromas of nutty milk chocolate, creamy coffee and soft roasted malts. Flavors follow more of a dry stout, with lots of roasted malts and possibly a bit of lactose

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Ebony pour, small, silky beige head. Aroma is predominantly roast grains, minor coffee and chocolate. Taste also is roast grain bitterness, then lacto sweetness, then alcohol heat. Middle of the pack, but not a bad place to be.

Draught at the brewery
Jet black color with compact brownish head. A bit of cardboard aroma, but the mouthfeel is very robust,, mix of roasted malts and chocolate, moderately sweet not too bitter.
Very nice.

On tap at WA Winter Beer Festival 2015, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted barley and a little coffee. Flavour is pretty heavy, with lots of roasted malt and coffee. Tons of oats and roast. Full-bodied and well-balanced, though not overly complex or elegant. Good.

On Tap at the Everett Craft Beer fest Big roasty smooth flavors. Also, very clean and well attenuated and not heavy or overly thick. Very good all around big stout. Nice job
