0.75l bottle @ RBNAG11. Pours a clouded orange body with a thin sidesticking white head. Aroma has grape, sour apples, brett, apricots, leafs, grass. It has a average carbonation level and a oily to sticky mouthfeel. It's acidic and lemon strong but not too much in any way. Tart and horsy finish. Great stuff and thank's for sharing!

Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. Hazy golden colour. Intense aroma of farmhouse, new and old woodwork, sour fruit / lemons. Flavour of a classical gueuze, funky and farmhouse notes, also lemon.

Thanks countbeer for sharing this one! Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Smells like melting plastic and car tire. Tastes sour and fruity. Fizzy carbo, full body.

Bottle 750ml. @ RBESG 11 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift, 10 Gainsford Street, London, England SE1 2NE. [ As my rating # 22000 on ratebeer ]. Unclear medium orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy yeasty, barnyard, grapefruit, citrus, tart, sulfur notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, funky, dry. Very nice and very good balanced ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft and fizzy. [20110807]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival from a bottle Countbeer brought: thanks for sharing Kamiel! Hazy cloudy orange color, big white head. Smell rubber, molten plastic, sour, vinegar. Taste sour but balanced. Decent carbo, medium body.

Bottled, thx to Countbeer. Slight hazy golden orange color, short head. Lovely aroma, barnyard, horseblanket, slight fruity note even. Soft and balanced taste, amazing soft sourish taste, almost creamy mouthfeel for a gueuze. No harshness at all. Truly wonderful gueuze.

750 ml bottle courtesy of mreusch, tasted along with the Zomer. The pour is a haze yellow golden along with a nicely formed white head. Aroma is the house character of 3 Fonteinen, a bit of plastic, and light sour and funk in the back. It all comes to together well, and is quite soft and approachable. The taste is lemon citrus tartness right up front, followed close behind with the funk of the nose, some of the burnt plastic near the end, and the tart sour lemon carries the longish finish. The palate features spritzy champagne like effervenseance. Clean and tart finish, really drinkable stuff. Thanks for sharing these gems Matt.

Side by side with the Zomer and later a November ’08 bottling of the regular Oude Geuze. Color is thick golden to light orange, cannot see through it. Thick head that sticks around for a while. 3F house character here is more of a burnt-fire tire, like a match to rubber. Flavor has a strong tart kick and a long long drying tart aftertaste. Dry and slight more tart than the Lente. Shared by Matt, thank you thank you sooo muchhhh.

Pours opaque copper with gold hues and white head. The aroma is really nice and inviting with funky woodiness, soured citrus, yeasty sourness, some tartness, hay, large damp blooming meadow and herbally green shrubs and flowers. Whoa. The taste is similar with lots of tartness and lemon like acidity that quickly heads into and is tempered by sweeter soured citrus notes and soft echoes of hay, herbs and flowers. This is fresh, refreshing, balanced and complex all at the same time and has you searching and discovering different nuances with each sip. Dandy stuff.

Bottle. Opens with a gusher. Hazy deep orange color with a huge frothy white head and aggressive carbonation. Wonderful aroma full of barnyard, lemons, oranges, other fruits and leathery notes. Sour citric flavor with barnyard, oak, some lactic yogurt-like notes, some earth and a touch of sweetness. Medium-bodied with a strong carbonation that later settles a bit to make a more soft and rounded mouthfeel. An outstanding Geuze, worth every penny. I WANT MORE!
