Medium brown. Light chocolate nose, moderate bitterness and a light nuttiness. Probably better than I expected. But still not my type of beer.

473 ml can. Pours black with a lightish head of big bubbles. Aromas of nuts, cola, and roasted malts. Flavors of same though can’t say hazelnuts. Light but pleasant.

Draft - Light toast on the nose. Deep brown with a nice light brown head. Light nutty and toasty notes. OK.

Can from Steamworks Liquor Store
Black color with medium sized tan head. Based on roasted malts, but also with some chocolate, and luckily no hazelnuts, maybe, some roasted nuts. A bit too ashy in the final.
Not bad.

500mL can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out hazelnuts upfront, followed by a touch of cocoa. Flavour is fairly astringent, with hazelnuts upfront, followed by a somewhat metallic astringency on the finish. Clean enough, but it feels rather abrasive. Okay.
