Bottle. Chocolate fudge malt and light alcohol aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Sweet chocolate fudge malt flavor. Mild alcohol and bitter herbal finish. Not bad - by far the best South American Impy Stout I’ve ever had.

Bottle: Pours black with a thin, dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate, sugar, sweet raisin. Taste is dark, dried fruit, roast chocolate, ash.... A little bit of boozy bitterness and warmth. Notes of vanilla, sticky feel, lactic. Nice.....but a little on the sweet side.

600 ml bottle labeled as “Guanabara”. Deep brown color with a black center, almost no head. Aroma of cocoa, molasses, tobacco and shoe leather. Flavor is some milk chocolate, molasses, burnt sugar and some alcohol. Soft carbonation with a sugary finish. It’s good but could be better with a more full/ roasty body. A bit on the thin side watery side. Still worth a try.
