Pumpkin Patch Ale is autumn in a bottle. This beer looks like the leaves after they have changed color. An aroma of cinnamon, ginger and all-spice wafts into the air and blends with pumpkin and maple syrup on your palate. Delicious.

Bottle from Denman Liquor Store, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color, almost no head. The aroma has some biscuits, spices, and vegetables (celery). Dry mouthfeel, a bit too heavy on the spices, covering the biscuity malt; too strong bitterness too.
Messy.

Bottle - Sweet pumpkin spice and starch. Clear copper with a small white head. Sweet spice and a nice spicy finish. Although all spice, it is actually balanced and OK.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy pumpkin orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of cinnamon, pumpkin, ginger, and a little maple syrup. Flavour is fairly sweet, with maple syrup, cinnamon and pumpkin pie. Actually quite nice, with a sweet, maple-y and somewhat spicy finish. Actually pretty solid -- better than expected.

Flat and muddy, looks like absolute shit. Big pumpkin nose, and taste, fairly bitter in the finish. Good balance, mellow pumpkin character is appealing.
