Poured from the tap. Dark brown with minimal off white head. Mild chocolate, hint of orange, feint tartness, thin body. Not terrible, but it’s difficult to find the redeeming factors here.

Black, tan head, vague orange nose. Thin and watery with vague orange and poor roast coffee notes Meh… waste of time and money

On draft at Craft Bierhaus in Revelstoke, BC. Pours a clear cola with an ecru head. Aroma is roast nuts, toasted oats and orange peel. Flavor has some leather and tobacco notes. Light bodied but complex.

Regular: Mellow black colour, a lot of vanilla in the nose. Sweet, ashy...like ashtray style... And more vanilla. Does not come together. 4 6 6 2 10
Cask with raisin & brown sugar. Dark brown, bubbly head. Slightly nutty and a little bit roasty aroma. Has a lightly roasty character, touch of molasses. Balanced and mellow, with a quenching real ale acidity in the finish. 7-3-6-3-13 = 3.2

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver; listed at 6.6% ABV
Black color, strong character from the roasted malt, a bit ashy indeed, and with a touch of something that can be orange peel. Dry mouthfeel.
Stout by the book that can please any Stout lover.

Draft - Lotos of dark toasty oat notes. Jet brown with a light brown head. Lots of roast notes. Light bitter chocolate and a nice finish. Orange is a bit lost on me, but still nice.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats and maybe a touch of cocoa sweetness. Flavour brings out dry cocoa, oats and then the orange peel. Rather dry, bitter and somewhat metallic on the finish. Body is thin and lifeless. Not very impressive.
