On tap at Brassneck. Pours murky dull ruby with a white head. Nose is floral and wheaty. Flavour is floral with gentle raspberry tartness and a wheaty base; dry esters. Nicely done.

(notes from Nov 21, 2023 because RB wouldn't log in) Poured from the tap. Clear amber red with small white head. Wit, mild esters, very feint hibiscus. Competently made, but nothing all that interesting about it.

Soft wit aroma with a bit of banana. Dark red colour which is cool. Flavour is soft dough in the back and vegetable acidity in the front. Wet on the mouth. All right.

On tap at the brewery. Pours an opaque rose cherry color with a white head. Aroma is slightly smokey, floral, hibiscus notes. Kind of hibiscus saison. Same character taste and aftertaste. Just didn’t realize why they call it Belgian Wit with hibiscus, IMHO it is Saison with hibiscus.

From old notes. On tap. Pours a pinkish brown with light head Aromas of rosewater, potpourri, and wet wheat. Flavors of red berries, and wheat with perfumey floral notes.

Draft - Sweet floral notes and light Berry. Pinkish red and white head. Sweet and flowery with some light fruity Berry notes. Ok.

473mL growler, pours a bright opaque pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of hibiscus, followed by faded citrus and wheaty notes. Flavour is very fruity, bringing out notes of hibiscus and raspberries upfront, followed by wheat in back. Very bright, refreshing and well-constructed. Very enjoyable wit.

Draught at the brewery
Bright red color, cloudy, with compact head. Light wheat aroma and flavor; dry and weak mouthfeel; no spicy yeast character; it has just an impression from the hibiscus. Relatively ordinary bitterness. Short final. Boring.
