Sleeping Giant Hoppet - an American IPA brewed with 2 row pale ale malt, two different types of caramel malt and a small amount of wheat malt for foam retention. It uses typical Pacific Northwest hops with four additions in the kettle plus additional dry hopping. The aroma and flavour from these hops is citrusy, herbal and some grapefruit. It finishes dry and is quite bitter. Best served slightly cold with a big head to appreciate the aroma. For the hopheads!

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has pine and wet grass with some earthy grain underlying. Flavor has pine and earthy grain with some grass in the finish.

Hoppy aroma, but its very light, notes pf pine resins, and some citrus zest. Caramel malts, and some chewy, sugary malts. Finish is medium bitter, with a big pine resin note, and a lingering citrus pith bitterness.

A copper ipa with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with resinous hops, light mineral notes, light citrus, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light cereals, pleasant. On tap at Red lion.

This IPA poured a medium amber colour with a off white, creamy head. Nice lacing. Scents include grass, hay and cereal. First swig was quite hoppy with flavours of spruce trees most prominent. Finish is hoppy as hell with a little caramel and cereal flavours on top of the bitter palate. Too hoppy for me.
