Aromas of toast freshly coming out of the toaster. Hazelnut accents, floral hops and delicately herbaceous in a low-power olfactory. A highly effervescent beige foam collar fades quickly. Dark amber liquid sparkling and of exemplary clarity. Taste is well malted with notes of hazelnuts, toast and floral hops. The finish is dry and has a restrained bitterness. The body is moderately light with a slightly creamy texture and a very lively effervescence. The balance is on the malty side with truly little bitterness. The strong effervescence makes it a refreshing beer, but we completely miss the bitterness. Big tall can, Imperial pint size. Pours a clean amber colour, more on the darker side, with a big frothy warm cap, long lasting with some foamy lacing. Red ale aromas with well-blended notes of roasted malts, caramel, nuts and light hops. The taste is even nuttier, with some bread and the mild hops finishing off things. Not a bad red ale that is easy to drink beer.
