750mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of acidic notes, brett, and oak -- very acidic and vinegary. Flavour is fairly acidic and woody, with oak, light funk and acetic notes. Not overly complex and certainly not like a gueuze. Finishes acidic and acetic (vinegary). Good, but a bit underwhelming.

Bottle - Light stone fruit and grape and funk. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Light tart and funk notes. Touch of stone fruit, light tartness and a dry Woody acidity. Not bad.

Les pommes frappent le nez lors des premières effluves et se maintiennent tout au long du processus olfactif. Les pommettes surtout. Les déclinaisons sont faites d’ammoniac, de vieux cuir, de poussière. Belle complexité olfactive. De couleur orangée, voilée, avec une petite mousse à bulles effervescentes qui s’enfuient assez rapidement. En bouche, c’est équilibré, avec un arrière goût étonnamment acidulé. Les éléments de l’olfactif se répètent en bouche avec les pommettes en évidence et un petit fond de caramel. C’est doux, c’est rafraichissant. Une belle bière d’été.
