Can from the lcbo. Slightly Cloudy brown pour, small white head. Aroma is quite malty, lots of caramel and toffee with some light grassy hops. Normal mouth feel and carb, with a light bitterness. Finish is toasty, and sweet with some light nutty notes and some bready caramel. Meh.

This pale ale poured a deep amber colour with a creamy, light tan head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, malt and a little ripe fruit. First swig was smooth and so malty. Light hop bitterness lingering with caramel flavour.

Draft @ Bar Hop Brewco, Toronto. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Canned, from LCBO. Clear amber, rich creamy head. Mild caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly with mild pine. Lightly resiny finish. A balanced beer, well in line with Englands premium bitters.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted mlt, slight caramelish. Toasted malty, caramelish. Medium dry. Toasted malt finish.

Can stamped with NOV3015 underneath. Pours a clean rich amber colour with a bubbly-creamy beige head, good retention and very nice lacing. Aromas of rusty water from the hops. These hops are also a little too strong in the taste and not well-balanced. Grassy, bitter, but luckily not as rusty as the scent. With time, caramel and nutty malts appear in the nose. Fruity malts in the taste. Becomes acceptable. Drinkable.

Draft - Toffee and some twig. Clear dark gold with a white head. Caramel and twig. Meh.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear deep copper pour with a small tan head that lingers and leaves a bit of lace. Nose is toffee, roasted nuts and honey. medium sweet caramel start with a light bitterness through the middle. Mouth is medium slick with soft carbonation. The sample on tap at the brewery was a little more active. Nice bitter.
